Does love die with death,
Does it end with one's last breath?
Will I yet feel love with my soul,
Or will the void of nothingness take control?
Will I become forgotten by you,
As if I were someone you never knew?
Will all we shared have been in vain,
Or will we share it in the afterlife again?
Personally, I believe that love is infinite,
And that it grows with each minute,
I am sure that its purpose is for the being inside,
And that to the essence of each it is eternally tied.
Love does not ever end,
Nor does it sway or bend,
Only people can change the result of love,
Though they have no power over the realm of the above...
Though I go away, though I live no more,
Love will exist in me, and around me, forever and more;
It is the substance of the living soul personified,
It is not exclusive to the inner workings of the human psyche, no, it is magnified,
By the Universe/Heavens, it is not of this world, it is not of our mind,
Once it has come to us, it shall never be left behind,
It is that in which Divinity and we are immortally entwined...
